FOOD JOURNEY IN NAINITAL
I was here for my industrial visit of college was happy that got a chance to explore the best trending food stuff i.e momos, awaiting to taste it. We were on sight seeing by evening beside Naini lake, went to Naina Devi Hindu temple, outside temple there were 4 to 5 hotels, food stall, very simple and local eatery it was but serving all kind of menu. So almost everyone was serving momos over there so we were confused which one to choose in addition to that steamed or fried but somehow decided one food joint and they were like "bolo kya khaoge"
I and my friends are crazy for momos. Half were vegetarian and half were anti vegetarian, So we sat on a bench and ordered one veg and nonveg fried momos each .in veg e took fried paneer momos stuffing was made with crushed paneer and veggies.in non-veg momos stuffing was minced chicken with chilis, spices, condiments served with Sche Zwan chutney was so damn spicy but yet tasty.momos tasted so good because origin matters anyway.and finally it gave us satisfaction to our taste buds and we repeated the order.because we tried the Mumbai's momos taste(the appetite momos) but authenticity we got in Nainital only.
local people from Nainital selling many things like woolen clothes, caps, jackets, socks, wooden stuff, cutlery etc and other eatery items such as bhutta, chole Tikki, chat items etc.i found people very down to earth and hardworking because their earning based on this only as it's a tourist place altogether.
Hoping to have my next visit soon so I would explore more food culture of Nainital.amazed with fascinating and captivating beauty of such a hill station.
